Brandon Moreno calls Deiveson Figueiredo his best sponsor ever: ‘He’s paying for my house and car’

Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo will compete for the third time in a row for the flyweight title in the UFC 270 main event on January 22, 2022. Moreno defeated Figueiro at UFC 263 earlier this year to win the strip after the two men fought for a draw at UFC 256 six Months before.

After spending so much time in a cage with the Brazilian bomber, Moreno is ready to put him once and for all in his rearview mirror. And it’s not just Figuerado he’s trying to put behind him, but some of the people around him, including his manager Walid Ismail.

“I’m tired of thinking about him because all these fake people around him, man, it’s too much for me because I’m trying to be very, very real on my normal day,” Moreno said Monday. MMA Hour (Through MMA Fighting).

“I try to be very real with my people, on social media. I try to be very clear in my regular life, but this guy is like … sometimes, I think this guy does not believe his words. When he speaks, it’s like it’s all talk of lies. “And about the fake people around him. That’s what it is. I’m tired of it, but a fight is a battle, and I’m ready to fight it again.”

Moreno’s apparent contempt for Ismail grew exponentially after he founded Figuerado to train with Henry Sajodo, Moreno’s former coach. But, not so much the training went under Moreno’s skin, it was more to do with Ismail suggesting that Judo intended to take revenge on Moreno for betraying him last season of Ultimate Warrior (TUF), where the Olympics coached against Joseph Benbidz.

But, Moreno wants to remind everyone that it was a judo who did not choose to be on his TUF team, which forced the “assassin baby” to join Benevides & Co., an experience that Moreno said helped him get very better.

Still, Moreno doesn’t get too upset about the Figaro War for the third time because at the end of the day, the former champion turned out to be his highest paid sponsor ever.

“Figueiredo is my best sponsor ever,” Moreno explained, referring to how much money he would eventually earn after a trilogy against him. “I’ve never had a sponsor like Figiardo. He pays for my house, he pays for my car, so we can do it again.”

Burn …

UFC 270 is expected to drop inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, and will be headed by a heavyweight title fight between the division’s king, Francis Nagano, and interim champion, Cyril Gunn.
