Conor McGregor says he’s fighting for 155 title

Conor McGregor says he’s fighting for a lightweight title when he returns ‘Deal with It’

Conor McGregor is the most talked about man in martial arts and the debate right now is ‘who will he fight’ when he returns.

But McGregor has already answered us that question.

“Hey guys, here .. clicks and the like,” he wrote in response to an ESPN article asking who should be his next opponent. “Your boss and what not. The Mac. Saint Claus. I’m facing the one who’s got the next LW title. Deal with it. Take off your glasses and mark the ‘unfinished’ trilogy. Deal with it too. The rest mentioned, then. “Deal. With. It.”

Colby Covington leaked the injury to Jorge Savidal, forcing UFC 269 to be canceled

McGregor has only been 1-4 in his last appearances at the Octagon, including two back-to-back losses to Dustin Poirier, who could very well be the one to hold the title when he returns.

The UFC seems unlikely to throw McGregor back for a title shot, but weirder things have happened when it comes to the former champion.
