The ONE Championship hopes the third time is the magic for ordering this World Cup fight. December 2020 and October this year were the two time frames previously designated for the confrontation between Kryklia and Aygun.

Aygun was last seen on December 4, 2020 When he defeated Anderson Silva in ONE: Big Bang. The unanimous victory came against substitute Silva after the above-mentioned reasons for Caricalia to leave this event.
